2-Vehicle Santa Fe Springs Crash on I-605 Freeway
SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif. (Dec. 10, 2021) – A Santa Fe Springs crash on the Interstate 605 Freeway happened Friday morning near Telegraph Road.
The two-vehicle, rollover crash occurred about 6:41 a.m. and prompted a SigAlert within minutes, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The drivers collided in the northbound HOV lane and one of them overturned up against the center divider. It’s unknown what led up to the Santa Fe Springs crash at this time.
Paramedics responded due to possible injuries, but there is no further information.
Meanwhile, traffic is backing up behind the crashed vehicles in the HOV and No. 1 lanes, police said. However, authorities canceled the SigAlert at 7:27 a.m. One tow truck responded to remove the overturned vehicle.
Investigators seek to determine the cause of the two-vehicle crash and liability.
