SANTA FE SPRINGS (April 10, 2017)- According to the Daily Press, a deadly crash took place Sunday evening involving two vehicles at the intersection of Los Nietos and Santa Fe Springs roads.
The crash took place at around 9:30 p.m. between a black sedan and a white or silver sedan.
The black sedan incurred massive damage to both sides of the vehicle as both the passenger and the driver’s side doors were completely sheered off.
One motorist sadly perished in the collision and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At least two others were moderately injured and rushed to hospitals for treatment of their undisclosed injuries, per the Daily News.
Whittier PD will be the investigating agency handling this incident. It remains unclear whether speed, drugs, or alcohol played a role at this time.
