SANTA FE SPRINGS: Fatal Rollover Crash on Shoemaker Avenue

SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif., (April 17, 2026) — A fatal car accident happened early Friday morning when a vehicle overturned on Shoemaker Avenue in Santa Fe Springs.

The incident occurred on April 17th at approximately 6:08 a.m. at 11230 Shoemaker Avenue, involving a red Cadillac Escalade, according to the California Highway Patrol. The vehicle vehicle reportedly overturned and hit a parked Acura near the location. Emergency services were promptly alerted, with units en route at around 6:11 a.m. and arriving on the scene shortly after.

The victim’s identity is currently withheld pending family notification. Emergency responders were on-site, and a tow was requested for the overturned vehicle. The accident scene was managed by multiple units, with efforts made to clear the area, including the deployment of two separate towing services, On Star Towing and Vernola’s Towing.

The Santa Fe Springs Police Department is conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash. Authorities are urging any witnesses or individuals with information about the incident to come forward to aid in the investigation.
