Hit-and-run Driver Flees Fatal Crash
The fiery, fatal crash took place about 1:55 a.m. The CHP stated that the drivers of a black Chevrolet Camaro and a Toyota Prius collided and at least one of them caught on fire.
A man who was in one of the vehicles died of his injuries at the scene and the second driver fled, but there were no further details.
Police issued a SigAlert for all lanes of the northbound 605 Freeway. The crash is under investigation by police. They are searching for the suspect driver and will investigate the crash scene to determine liability.
