Motorcyclist Badly Hurt in Collision on I-605 at I-5 Freeway Sunday
Santa Fe Springs, CA (September 26, 2021) – A motorcycle rider suffered serious injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Interstate 605, also known as San Gabriel River Freeway.
On Sunday, a motorcyclist reportedly collided with a black Toyota Corolla in the southbound side of San Gabriel River (605) Freeway. The crash took place near the crossing at Interstate 5 in Santa Fe Springs.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch mentioned the force from the impact caused the rider to fall down the roadway.

Shortly after 11:30 a.m., medical personnel arrived at the location. First responders rendered aid to the rider, who apparently broke they wrist. According to the CHP log, the bone of the victim sticked out. An ambulance later responded to the crash site, then transferred the patient to the hospital for further treatment and evaluation. Police continue to withhold the name of the victim pending confirmation.
Investigators continue to work at this time to determine exactly how and why the motorcycle accident in Santa Fe Springs.
