Major Injury Collision on Betteravia Road
SANTA MARIA, Calif. (Sept. 20, 2024) — A major injury car accident in Santa Maria happened on East Betteravia Road, just west of Rosemary Road.
The fiery, two-vehicle collision occurred near 1599 E. Betteravia Road at 5:42 a.m. on Sept. 20th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a red Nissan and a white sedan were involved. The white car reportedly caught on fire after the crash. One of the vehicles wound up on the eastbound shoulder of Betteravia Road and the other was on the westbound shoulder.
Paramedics responded and located two women with undisclosed minor to major injuries who required an ambulance. They were transported to Marian Regional Medical Center.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed both of the vehicles from the crash scene and investigators are working to determine fault for the car accident on Betteravia Road in Santa Maria.
