Solo Car Accident State Route 166
SANTA MARIA, California (July 7, 2017) – At least one person was killed when a car went off the roadway on the State Route 166 near Cable Corral Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash took place about 6:53 a.m. this morning. Police stated the vehicle was not visible from the road and it appears the victim or victims died of their injuries at the scene.
City Motors towing was called to remove the vehicle from the brush. The cause of the accident is under investigation by police to determine liability.
