1 Injured in Santa Maria Crash Near Highway 166 and Black Road
SANTA MARIA, CA (April 15, 2022) – One was injured after a crash near Highway 166 and Black Road west of Santa Maria.
According to an article published by The Santa Maria Times, the accident took place on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 1:25 p.m.
The California Highway Patrol said a Honda sedan and a Chevrolet taco truck collided head-on for an unknown reason near Santa Maria. They added that a Ford was also involved in the incident.
Food Truck, Cars Collide
The vehicles crashed near the intersection of Highway 166 and Black Road. The Ford obtained critical damage due to the impact of the collision.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found one person lying on the side of the road as a result of the accident.
Medical personnel provided aid to the patient for the minor injuries they sustained in the wreck. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced the corner of Highway 166 and Black Road to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Santa Maria crash is still under investigation.
