3 Injured Gravel Truck, Car Crash Betteravia and Telephone Roads
SANTA MARIA, Calif. (April 30, 2021) — A Santa Maria gravel truck and car crash happened Friday on East Betteraia Road just east of Santa Maria.
Three people were injured in the 10 a.m. collision on April 30th, according to Noozhawk.
Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to Betteravia and Telephone roads because they needed to help the injured, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Also, two people had moderate injuries. AMR ambulance workers transported them to Marian Regional Medical Center.
Meanwhile, a third person suffered minor injuries and became trapped in a Toyota Prius. Firefighters managed to extricate the person, but it was a lengthy process, the report said.
Additionally, the truck spilled gravel into the roadway and required a clean-up.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the Santa Maria crash and liability.
