Pedestrian Hit and Injured by a Vehicle Near Suey Creek Road Monday
Santa Maria, CA (January 13, 2022) – A pedestrian suffered injuries following a suspected hit-and-run collision that occurred on State Route 166, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Officials said a vehicle struck an individual on the highway near Suey Creek Road in Santa Maria. CHP logged the incident at about 9:16 p.m.
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found the victim with injuries. Responding paramedics rendered aid to the pedestrian. The name of the patient, and the extent of their trauma have not been discussed thus far.

The CHP log mentioned the driver fled the scene before police arrived. At this time, detectives continue to work to determine the identity and location of the hit-and-run suspect.
