Major Injury Collision at Simas Road and 11th Street Saturday
Santa Maria, CA (June 26, 2021) – At least one person suffered serious injuries following a motorcycle accident that occurred over the weekend in the area of Simas Road and 11th Street.
According to the California Highway Patrol log, a motorcyclist crashed for an unknown reason at the intersection of Simas and 11th in Santa Maria. The CHP logged the collision Saturday at about 8:10 p.m.
Motorcycle Rider Badly Hurt in Santa Maria Accident, June 26
Responding emergency teams found the rider with serious injuries lying on the ground. Paramedics then rendered aid to the victim, whose name remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Primary reports indicated several motorists stopped at the accident scene. However, it remained unclear whether other vehicles contributed to the collision.
At this time, investigators continue to work to determine the precise cause of the motorcycle accident in Santa Maria.
