Woman, Juvenile Injured in Santa Maria Pedestrian Crash at Stowell and Blosser
SANTA MARIA, CA (March 4, 2022) – A pedestrian crash left two people injured at Blosser and Stowell roads in Santa Maria.
According to the Noozhawk News and KEYT News, the accident took place on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the collision at about 3 p.m.
Police said a vehicle struck an adult female pedestrian and a juvenile for an unknown reason in Santa Maria. The car hit them at the intersection of Blosser and Stowell roads.
Victims Hit by Car
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found the woman and the child hurt. Both victims sustained minor to possible major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patients to the Marian Regional Medical Center for treatment. The names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time were not disclosed.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the victims. The cause of the Santa Maria pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the area of Blosser and Stowell roads to shut down following the incident.
