11 Injured in Santa Monica Hit-and-Run Crash on Pacific Coast Highway
SANTA MONICA, CA (October 8, 2021) – Several were injured after a hit-and-run crash on Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica.
According to the Santa Monica Mirror and Patch, the accident took place early Sunday. officers reported the wreck on October 3 at around 3:08 a.m.
Santa Monica police said a party bus and another vehicle collided for an unknown reason. The two crashed in the 1000 block of Pacific Coast Highway.

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and took an occupant of the second vehicle to a local hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Medical personnel treated the 10 passengers of the bus for the minor wounds they sustained in the incident. The report did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver of the party bus fled the area following the wreck. Officers forced a stretch of Pacific Coast Highway to shut down after the collision.
The cause of the Santa Monica hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
