Man Killed in Santa Monica Hit-and-Run Near 10th Street and Pico Boulevard
SANTA MONICA, CA (November 13, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash killed a pedestrian near 10th Street and Pico Boulevard in Santa Monica.
According to an article published by the CBS Los Angeles, the tragic accident took place on Saturday night. Officers reported the incident at around 8 p.m.
Santa Monica police said a vehicle struck a male pedestrian for an unknown reason. The driver hit him near the intersection of 10th Street and Pico Boulevard.

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and found the man left lying on the ground. He sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon pronounced the victim dead at the scene. The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the motorist did not stop to render aid to the man and fled the area. Officers the corner of 10th Street and Pico Boulevard to shut down following the collision.
The cause of the fatal Santa Monica hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
