At Least 1 Hurt in Collision on 10 Freeway Thursday
Santa Monica, CA (October 1, 2021) – A suspected hit-and-run crash occurred on Interstate 10, also known as Santa Monica Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.

Earlier reports indicated two vehicles collided on the eastbound lanes of the freeway at Cloverfield Boulevard on ramp. Officials said the accident involved a gray Honda Civic. Meanwhile, the second car apparently fled the scene following the crash.
Shortly after 8:40 p.m., medical personnel arrived at the location. Responding paramedics immediately rendered aid to all possible victims in the wreck. The CHP log confirmed at least one person sustained injuries from the collision. Authorities continue to withhold the name and age of the victim pending confirmation.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to identify and locate the hit-and-run suspect in the Santa Monica crash.
