Santa Paula Car Crash Highway 126 Near Briggs Road

2 Injured in Santa Paula Crash on Eastbound Highway 126 Near Briggs Road

SANTA PAULA, CA (August 8, 2021) – Two were hospitalized after a car crash on Highway 126 near Briggs Road in Santa Paula.

According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred late Sunday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 11:05 a.m.

CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Santa Paula. They crashed on eastbound Highway 126, just west of the Briggs Road on-ramp.

2 Cars Collide

The incident log described the cars as a white Honda sedan and a white Chevrolet Tahoe. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.

Medical personnel found two people who ended up hurt as a result of the collision. They then took the patients to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Officials did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the eastbound lanes of Highway 126 to shut down for nearly two hours following the wreck.

The cause of the Santa Paula crash is still under investigation.
