2-Vehicle Car Accident on Highway 126 in Santa Paula
SANTA PAULA, Calif. (Dec. 14, 2023) — A fatal, two-vehicle crash happened Thursday in Santa Paula on East Telegraph Road also known as State Route 126.
The collision occurred at around 5:35 a.m. on Dec. 14th in front of 19311 East Telegraph Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a black Jeep and a second vehicle were involved.
The Ventura County Fire Department responded and extricated one person trapped in the Jeep on the right shoulder. The person sustained major injuries and died following the crash, the CHP said.
Police closed down the roadway to traffic due to the collision and subsequent investigation to determine fault.
