3-Vehicle Crash on SR-126 (Highway 126) in Santa Paula
SANTA PAULA, Calif. (Sept. 6, 2022) — A 3-vehicle Santa Paula crash on state Route Highway 126 happened Tuesday morning near Todd Road.
The multi-vehicle collision occurred in the westbound lanes of Santa Paula Freeway at 8 a.m. on Sept. 6th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a blue Dodge Journey, a white Toyota Camry and a black Mazda SUV were involved in the collision.
The driver of the Dodge told CHP officials “her vehicle would not stop and the brakes went out,” the report said. She was also suffering from chest pain at the scene.
Meanwhile, the Ventura County Fire Department responded to help those hurt in the crash. They took one person to a hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
Tow trucks removed the Dodge with major front-end damage, the Mazda and Toyota also had damage from the collision.
