Rider Injured in Collision on Highway 126 Saturday
Santa Paula, CA (September 11, 2021) – A suspected hit-and-run crash occurred on State Route 126 Saturday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Primary reports indicated a man riding a motorcycle collided with another vehicle in the westbound side of Highway 126. The incident took place just west of 10th Street in Santa Paula.
CHP logged the incident at about 5:45 p.m.
According to the dispatch, the force from the impact caused the motorcyclist to slam into the center divider. Responding medical personnel immediately rendered aid to the rider found with injuries.
The name of the victim, and their condition at this time remained undisclosed.

Meanwhile, officials confirmed the other driver involved in the collision fled the scene. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect in the Santa Paula crash.
