At Least 1 Hospitalized After Collision Near Santa Paula Freeway Wednesday
Santa Paula, CA (November 25, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a pedestrian accident that occurred on Palm Avenue onramp on November 24, Wednesday.

Officials said a vehicle struck a male party at an onramp from Interstate 126, also known as Santa Paula Freeway. Per CHP log, the pedestrian attempted to walk across Palm Avenue onramp. However, an oncoming vehicle did not notice and hit the man.
Shortly after 6:18 p.m., emergency teams arrived at the crash site. First responders found the pedestrian lying on the ground. After paramedics rendered aid to the victim, they transported him to Ventura County Medical Center for further treatment and evaluation. Authorities continue to withhold the name and age of the victim pending confirmation.
Meanwhile, the driver appeared unharmed following the crash.
Investigators handling the case continue to work to determine liability in the pedestrian accidnet on Palm Avenue onramp in Santa Paula.
