Cyclist Injured in Hit-and-Run Collision at Stony Point Road and Bellevue Avenue

Santa Rosa, CA (February 27, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred in the area of Stony Point Road and Bellevue Avenue.

Officials said a man riding a bicycle collided with another vehicle at the busy intersection in Santa Rosa on February 23, Thursday. CHP logged the case shortly before 11 a.m.

When emergency crews arrived, the found the cyclist lying in the roadway. Our sources indicated responding paramedics treated the victim for unspecified injuries. Personal information on the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.

Preliminary investigation revealed the driver that hit the cyclist the scene after the collision. Detectives said the hit-and-run suspect was possibly driving a silver Honda Accord with a missing side mirror. At this time, investigators continue to work to determine several unclear factors surrounding the deadly accident that happened at Stony Point Road and Bellevue Avenue.
