SANTA ROSA, California (November 18, 2014) – A bicyclist was injured Tuesday afternoon when they were hit by the driver of a yellow Penske truck on Santa Rosa Avenue at Bucks Road, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officers responded to the 2:32 p.m. bicycle accident and reported that the rider had an injury to their face following the crash. Paramedics responded and transported the bicyclist to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police are heading up an investigation into the accident to determine liability.
