2 Hospitalized After Rollover Collision at Fourth Street and Brookwood Avenue Sunday
Santa Rosa, CA (September 19, 2021) – Two people suffered injuries following a car crash that occurred in the area of Fourth Street and Brookwood Avenue.
On Sunday afternoon, two or more vehicles collided at a busy intersection in Santa Rosa. The KRON4 News reported a car heading south on Brookwood Avenue failed to stop at a red light. As a result, the car eventually hit another vehicle at the crossing of 4th and Brookwood.
Officials mentioned one vehicle rolled over approximately three times due to the force from the impact.
The traffic accident took place at about 6:52 p.m.
Major Car Crash in Santa Rosa, September 19
Officers arrived with personnel from the Santa Rosa Fire Department. First responders reportedly found two people trapped in the overturned car, and one person trapped in the upright car.
Paramedics immediate rendered aid to all the victims in the collision. Our sources indicated the two parties extricated from the overturned car were both transported to a local hospital. The patients received treatment for minor and moderate injuries sustained in the accident.
