1 Injured in Santa Rosa Crash on Northbound Highway 101 Near Todd Road
SANTA ROSA, CA (August 25, 2021) – At least one was hospitalized after a car crash on Highway 101 near Todd Road in Santa Rosa.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident occurred on Wednesday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 8:22 a.m.
According to CHP, at least two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Santa Rosa. They crashed on northbound Highway 101, just south of Todd Road.
2 Cars Collide
One of the cars involved, a Subaru Forester, obtained front-end damage upon impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Medical personnel found one person who sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision. They then took the wounded party to the Kaiser Permanente Santa Rosa for treatment.
Officials did not disclose the name of the patient and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the northbound lanes of Highway 101 to shut down near Todd following the wreck.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Santa Rosa crash.
