1 Injured in Santa Rosa Crash on Westbound Highway 12 Near Pythian
SANTA ROSA, CA (September 12, 2021) – One was hospitalized after a car crash on Highway 12 near Pythian Road in Santa Rosa.
The California Highway Patrol said the wreck took place on Sunday afternoon. According to their dispatch, officers reported the accident at about 3:22 p.m.
Two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Santa Rosa. They crashed on the westbound side of Highway 12, just east of the Pythian Road intersection.
2 Cars Collide
The incident log described the cars involved as a blue Honda Accord and a white Toyota Tacoma. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Valley of the Moon Club.
Medical personnel found one person who complained of pain as a result of the collision. They then took the patient to the Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the westbound lanes of Highway 12 near Pythian Road to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Santa Rosa crash is still under investigation.
