Major Injury Car Accident in Santa Rosa
SANTA ROSA, Calif. (July 17, 2023) — A major injury crash on Calistoga Road happened Monday morning near St. Helena Road in Santa Rosa.
the two-vehicle collision occurred around 9:30 a.m. on July 17th, in front of 2460 Calistoga Road, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The drivers of a black Mercedes Benz sedan and a white sedan collided head-on when one of the motorists veered into the path of the other one, the report said. One of the vehicles also collided with a tree.
Paramedics responded and rushed at least one person to a hospital with major injuries.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed both of the vehicles due to major front-end damage and they will be stored for evidence.
Police closed down Calistoga Road at St. Helena Road to investigate the cause of the crash and liability.
