SANTA ROSA, Calif. (March 6, 2023) — A two-vehicle Santa Rosa crash happened Monday on the northbound Highway 101 at the Steele Lane off ramp.
The collision occurred about 5:06 a.m. on March 6th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A dark-colored Honda sedan and a white Nissan Frontier pickup truck collided due to unknown circumstances. However, one of the vehicles reportedly hit a pothole, the report said.
The sedan reportedly overturned onto its side when it crashed into an embankment on the side of the roadway. The pickup was reportedly blocking the highway’s off ramp.
Paramedics responded to help those injured in the Santa Rosa crash. It’s unknown if anyone was transported to a hospital as the injuries were listed as minor.
Also, tow trucks from Ace Towing and Yarbrough Tow responded to remove the two vehicles from the roadway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Santa Rosa crash on Highway 101.
