At Least 1 Hurt in Collision on Redwood Highway Tuesday
Santa Rosa, CA (February 7, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred on State Route 101, also known Redwood Highway.
On February 1, Tuesday, multiple vehicles collided in the southbound side of the highway in Santa Rosa. The accident took place near the connecting ramp onto State Route 12.
CHP logged the case at approximately 6:05 p.m.
Officials mentioned first responders found at the scene a black Honda Accord; a white Toyota RAV4; and a gray Volkswagen. Responding medical personnel rendered aid to all possible victims in the wreck. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person sustained injuries in the collision. The name and age of the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.

Meanwhile, our sources mentioned one motorist involved in the crash fled the scene before police arrived. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
