Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Santa Rosa Crash at Hoen and Summerfield
SANTA ROSA, CA (September 8, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash at Hoen Avenue and Summerfield Road in Santa Rosa.
According to an article published by The Press Democrat, the accident took place on Wednesday morning. Officers reported the wreck at around 10:20 a.m.
Santa Rosa police said a man riding a motorcycle and a Lexus SUV collided for an unknown reason. The two crashed at the intersection of Hoen Avenue and Summerfield Road.
Motorcycle Rider and Car Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the rider who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment. Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and his condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the woman driving the Lexus ended up unharmed following the wreck. Officers forced the area of Hoen Avenue and Summerfield Road to close after the collision.
The cause of the Santa Rosa crash is still under investigation.
