SANTA ROSA, California (March 23, 2016) — A motorcyclist collided with a white Chevrolet pickup truck Wednesday morning while traveling on Old Redwood Highway at Colonial Park Drive, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash took place about 12:05 p.m. between the two drivers. The rider suffered a possible head injury in the crash and required medical attention, but the extent of injuries was not disclosed.
Police are investigating what caused the crash and liability.
Motorcycle riders are far more vulnerable to injuries in crashes with other motorists, but they are also more likely to get blamed for the crash.
