Pedestrian Critically Injured in Santa Rosa Crash Near Hoen and Sierra Creek
SANTA ROSA, CA (March 6, 2023) – A pedestrian was critically injured after a crash near Hoen Avenue and Sierra Creek Lane in Santa Rosa.
According to The Press Democrat and SF Gate, the accident took place last week on Friday evening. Officers reported the collision on March 3 at around 6:28 p.m.
Police said for an unknown reason, a white Honda Civic struck the pedestrian in the city. The car hit the person in the westbound lane near Hoen Avenue and Sierra Creek Lane.
Victim Hit by Car
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the victim who sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the incident.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital and listed them in critical condition. The reports did not disclose the name of the wounded party.
Meanwhile, police added that the Santa Rosa resident driving the Honda stopped and stayed at the site following the pedestrian accident.
Officers forced the area of Hoen and Sierra Creek to shut down after the collision. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
