1 Seriously Injured in Santa Rosa Tesla Crash on Highway 101 Near Highway 12
SANTA ROSA, CA (November 8, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a Tesla crash on Highway 101 near Highway 12 in Santa Rosa.
A California Highway Patrol dispatch said the accident took place late Monday night. According to their report, the incident happened at about 10:36 p.m.
CHP determined that a Tesla and a Saturn collided in Santa Rosa. The two crashed for an unknown reason on northbound Highway 101, just south of Highway 12.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Santa Rosa Avenue. They found one person who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment of major injuries. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the northbound lanes of Highway 101 to shut down near Highway 12 for an hour following the wreck. The cause of the Santa Rosa crash is still under investigation.
