Deadly Traffic Collision Near Hearn Avenue
Santa Rosa, CA (April 6, 2022) – One person died, and another suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred on Highway 101.
The Argus Courier News reported 36-year-old Justino Gomez Rojas was behind the wheel of a Toyota Tacoma traveling south on the highway. When the man approached the area near Hearn Avenue exit, he allowed his car to veer into the opposite lane. Officials said the Toyota later collided into an oncoming Ford Explorer.
The catastrophic incident took place on April 3, Sunday, around 2 a.m.
When rescue teams arrived at the site, they immediately rendered aid to all parties involved in the wreck. The article published online confirmed Justino Gomez Rojas, a Petaluma resident, sadly died in crash.

Meanwhile, the woman driving the Explorer reportedly sustained major trauma as a result of the wreck. Responding paramedics rushed the patient to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
Detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the deadly car accident on Highway 101 in Santa Rosa.
