2 Injured in Santa Ynez Accident at Highway 246 and Refugio Road
SANTA YNEZ (May 29, 2018) – Two were hospitalized after a traffic collision in the area of Highway 246 and Refugio Road on Monday afternoon, according to Noozhawk.
The accident took place at about 3:30 p.m. in the Santa Ynez Valley.
As per the article, California Highway Patrol and Santa Barbara County Fire Department said for an unknown reason five vehicles collided at the intersection of Highway 246 and Refugio Road. Highway 246 is also known as Mission Drive.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and attended to two people who were hurt as a result of the crash. One of the victims, a 64-year-old man, was transported by ground ambulance to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital with injuries ranging from minor to moderate degree.
The other patient, a woman from another vehicle, was brought to Santa Ynez Cottage Hospital with minor wounds. The names and condition of the two wounded parties at this time were not immediately released.
Meanwhile, authorities are still investigating the cause of the incident.
