2 Injured in Santa Ynez Valley Crash on Alamo Pintado Road
SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, CA (May 21, 2021) – A car crash on Alamo Pintado Road injured two people in the Santa Ynez Valley.
According to an article published by the Noozhawk, the accident took place on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck shortly after 3 p.m. near Solvang.
The California Highway Patrol said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the Santa Ynez Valley. They crashed in the 1500 block of Alamo Pintado Road.

CHP described the cars involved as a white GMC Terrain and a white Alfa Romeo. Both the GMC and the Alfa obtained major front-end damage due to the impact.
Firefighters along with the paramedics at the scene and found two parties who ended up hurt as a result of the collision. They sustained moderate to possible major injuries in the wreck.
An air ambulance took at least one of them to the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment. Their names and condition at this time were not released.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the Alamo Pintado Road to shut down following the collision. Authorities are still determining the cause of the Santa Ynez Valley crash.
