1 Injured in Santee Crash on Westbound Highway 52 Tuesday
SANTEE (September 11, 2018) – A traffic collision along Highway 52 left at least one person injured on Tuesday morning, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch team.
The accident was reported at approximately 7:40 a.m.
CHP received a call about a dump truck and four more vehicles which collided for an unknown reason in the westbound lanes of Highway 52 near Cuyamaca Street.

Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and attended to at least one person who was confirmed to have been hurt upon impact. The patient, whose name was not disclosed, reportedly complained of pain to the head following the wreck.
Meanwhile CHP mentioned that one of the cars involved, a Dodge Ram 1500 truck, sustained moderate front-end damage due to the incident.
A SigAlert was issued, blocking the No. 2 lane of the westbound Highway 52, just east of Cuyamaca Street. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the collision.
