SANTEE, California (March 24, 2017) – A boy on a scooter was injured in a traffic collision on Woodside Avenue Thursday afternoon, according to NBC San Diego.
The accident took place at 3:46 p.m. near Highway 67.
As per the article, a 7-year-old boy was riding a scooter in the driveway of his home when he rolled into the street. The child was then struck by an Amazon van.
The young victim was transported to Rady Children’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries including a head injury. He was conscious and talking when he was taken to the hospital.
Authorities are investigating the incident.
