At Least 1 Hurt in Collision Near Mission Gorge Road Saturday
Santee, CA (November 16, 2021) – A suspected hit-and-run crash occurred on State Route Highway 52 on November 13, Saturday.
The California Highway Patrol group reported two or more vehicles collided in the eastbound side of the highway just east of Mission Gorge Road.

Shortly after 11:30 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found a black Lexus sedan, and a tan-colored SUV. The description of the third vehicle involved in the crash remained undisclosed. Officials confirmed the third motorist fled the scene following the collision.
Responding medical personnel rendered aid to all parties found at the scene. After the evaluation, authorities determined at least one person suffered injuries as a result of the wreck. The name and age of the victim have not been revealed thus far.
Detectives stayed at the crash site the whole morning to investigate several factors surrounding the hit-and-run car crash that occurred on State Route 52 in Santee.
