Suspect Arrested After Fatal Collision on Orange Avenue
Coronado, CA (August 4, 2022) – Sarai Valentina Olvera, a 26-year-old woman, died following a suspected DUI crash that occurred on Orange Avenue, the Kusi News reported.
Officials said Olvera was a passenger in a vehicle driven by a 20-year-old man. According to the article published online, allegedly drunk driver was traveling at a high rate of speed. When the car approached the 1100 block of Orange Avenue, the driver allowed the car to veer off the roadway and slam against a lamppost.
The horrible crash took place Friday around 12:30 a.m.

When emergency crews arrived at the location, they immediately rendered aid to all the occupants in the mangled car. The article published online mentioned one female passenger sadly died in the collision. Officials later identified the fatal victim as Sarai Valentina Olvera.
Authorities added a second passenger, a 20-year-old woman, sustained injuries in the accident. Paramedics transported the patient to a hospital for further treatment.
According to the article published online, the driver showed signs of intoxication. Police arrested the DUI suspect and charged him with gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
Detectives continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the deadly accident.
