Woman, 29, Seriously Injured in Saratoga Crash at Congress Springs and Pierce Roads
SARATOGA, CA (August 28, 2022) – A crash seriously injured one person at Congress Springs Road and Pierce Road in Saratoga.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Sunday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 2:01 p.m.
CHP said at least two vehicles, a motorcycle and a Toyota RAV4, collided for an unknown reason in Saratoga. The two crashed at the intersection of Congress Springs and Pierce roads.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
The incident log added that the car obtained side damage and a broken front tire due to the impact of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
They found a 29-year-old woman who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then rushed her to a hospital for treatment of a broken leg.
The name of the wounded patient and her condition at this time were not disclosed. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Congress Springs and Pierce roads to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Saratoga crash is still under investigation.
