Saratoga Tesla crash Highway 85
1 Injured in Saratoga Tesla Crash on Southbound Highway 85
SARATOGA, CA (March 5, 2022) – One was hospitalized after a Tesla crash on Highway 85 near Saratoga Avenue in Saratoga.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the accident late Friday morning. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 11:15 a.m.
The incident happened on March 4 when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason. They crashed on southbound Highway 85, just south of Saratoga Avenue.
2 Vehicles Collide
CHP described the cars as a gray Tesla and a silver Kia sedan. The Tesla obtained major rear-end damage while the Kia ended up with major front-end damage.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found one person who complained of pain as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel took the patient to the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the southbound side of Highway 85 to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Saratoga Tesla crash is still under investigation.
