Satnam Singh, 56, Injured in Fontana Crash on 10 Freeway at Sierra
FONTANA, CA (October 8, 2021) – Satnam Singh was hospitalized after a car crash on the 10 Freeway and Sierra Avenue in Fontana.
The California Highway Patrol identified the 56-year-old man as the victim of the accident which took place on Friday night.
The incident happened when Satnam Singh was riding one of the three vehicles which collided Fontana. The wreck occurred on the eastbound 10 Freeway at the Sierra Avenue off-ramp.
Multiple Cars Collide
The dispatch described the cars as a white pickup truck, a gray sedan and a silver colored sedan. A witness said one driver swerved for an unknown reason and struck the other vehicles involved.
Officers reported the collision at about 8:40 p.m. CHP determined that Satnam Singh complained of pain as a result of the crash.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They took the patient to the Kaiser Permanente Fontana Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the eastbound 10 Freeway at Sierra to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Fontana crash is still under investigation.
