Bicyclist Injured in Car Accident on Newhall Ranch Road

SAUGUS, Calif. (Dec. 7, 2023) — A bicycle rider was injured in a Saugus car accident Wednesday night at Newhall Ranch Road and Bouquet Canyon Road.

The collision occurred at around 8:25 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 6th, according to Hometown Station/KHTS.

A driver reportedly struck the victim due to unknown circumstances at the Saugus intersection, the report said.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department sent paramedics to the crash scene and transported the injured cyclist to a hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries.

Meanwhile, investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the bicycle accident on Newhall Ranch Road.

The name, age and gender of the bicycle rider injured in the Saugus accident were not released.
