Child Hospitalized After Car Accident on Rodgers Drive Tuesday
Saugus, CA (January 20, 2021) – A child suffered injuries following a traffic collision on Rodgers Drive Tuesday night, according to KHTS News.
Rollover Car Crash in Saugus, January 19
At approximately 7 p.m., two cars crashed on Rodgers Drive near Plum Canyon Road. The force from the impact caused one vehicle to overturn. Per local news source, the flipped vehicle caused damage to a nearby transformer. For this reason, the lights at the Saugus intersection and on the road went out.
Responding medical personnel checked the conditions of all parties involved. After an evaluation, officers confirmed a child sustained injuries as a result of the collision. Our sources indicated an ambulance transported the juvenile to a nearby hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
No other injuries were reported after the incident.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate at this time to determine the precise cause of the car crash in Saugus.
