Child Injured in Saugus Pedestrian Accident on Rodeffer Place
SANTA CLARITA, CA (March 31, 2021) – A minor was hospitalized after a pedestrian accident along Rodeffer Place in the Saugus neighborhood.
According to an article published by the Hometown Station, the incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon. Officers reported the crash shortly before 2:40 p.m.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department said a vehicle struck a child for an unknown reason. The driver hit the pedestrian in the 22000 block of Rodeffer Place in Saugus.
Minor Hit by Vehicle Near Copper Hill Drive
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene, just south of Copper Hill Drive. They found the young victim injured as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the juvenile patient to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. Officials did not disclose the condition of the wounded party.
Meanwhile, the report did not mention if the motorist stopped after hitting the pedestrian. Officers forced Rodeffer Place to shut down for a time following the Saugus crash.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the collision.
