Pedestrian Injured in Saugus Crash on Bouquet Canyon Road
SANTA CLARITA, CA (August 4, 2022) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after a crash on Bouquet Canyon Road in Saugus.
According to The Signal and Hometown Station, the accident took place on Wednesday afternoon. Officers reported the collision at about 12:21 p.m.
The incident happened on August 3 when a white Mercedes struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in the Saugus neighborhood.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department said the car hit the person on Bouquet Canyon Road near Newhall Ranch Road.
Victim Hit by Car
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the victim who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel rushed the patient to the Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital for treatment. The reports did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers did not mention if the driver stopped or stayed at the site after hitting the person. Officers forced a stretch of Bouquet Canyon Road to shut down following the collision.
The cause of the Saugus pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
