Savannah Marquez Fatal Car Accident Mission Bay Drive in San Diego

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (June 20, 2025) — Savannah Abigail Marquez, 21, died on June 4th following a car accident on Mission Bay Drive at Grand Avenue in San Diego.

The two-vehicle collision occurred around 9:55 p.m. at the San Diego intersection, according to the San Diego Medical Examiner’s Office.

The young woman was a passenger in a vehicle that collided with an SUV due to unknown circumstances.

A San Diego police officer was first to respond and requested emergency responders, but upon their arrival, she was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:19 p.m. the same night.

The investigation is headed by the San Diego Police Department.
