Driver, Juvenile Passengers Hospitalized After Car Crash on Highway 108 Friday
Soulsbyville, CA (May 4, 2021) – On April 30, Friday, a major solo-car accident occurred on Highway 108 in Soulsbyville.
According to My Motherlode, 25-year-old Savannah Lynn Taylor was behind the wheel of an SUV traveling east on the highway. In the area Soulsbyville and Twain Harte, the driver allowed the car to drift off the roadway.
The 2002 GMC Envoy SUV reportedly left the traffic lanes, then slammed into an embankment. The force from the impact caused the GMC Envoy to overturn.
Shortly after 6 p.m., emergency teams arrived at the location and found the vehicle flipped on its wheels in the eastbound side of the highway.
Savannah Taylor Airlifted After Car Accident in Soulsbyville, April 30
Responding medical personnel rendered aid to Savannah Taylor and her two juvenile passenger. Our sources confirmed all three parties sustained injuries as a result of the collision. Officials said the driver suffered the most serious injuries. For this reason, a helicopter transported Savannah Taylor to a Modesto hospital.
Authorities added the juveniles were also taken to a hospital for treatment. A ground ambulance transferred the injured parties to Adventist Health Sonora.
Further investigation on the car accident in Soulsbyville is underway.
