Multi-Vehicle Crash in Yucca Valley
YUCCA VALLEY, Calif. (August 23, 2023) — A head-on school bus accident happened at Onaga Trail and Valley Vista Avenue in Yucca Valley.
The three-vehicle collision occurred around 12:52 p.m. on August 23rd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a silver Nissan Murano, a black Chevrolet Cruze and a Morongo Unified School District bus collided due to unknown circumstances. The school bus was heading westbound on Onaga Trail when the crash occurred.
The bus was transporting students from La Content Middle School. Paramedics responded to help at least one child from the bus who suffered minor injuries. The unidentified student was transported to a hospital for further treatment.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Yucca Valley school bus accident on Onaga Trail.
