School Bus, Car Crash at Comstock Road, Fine Road in Linden

SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, Calif., (Sept. 11, 2026) — A head-on collision involving a passenger vehicle and a school bus occurred Friday in Linden at East Comstock Road and North Fine Road, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The incident, reported at 7:29 a.m., fortunately there were no serious injuries.

Details from the CHP incident log reveal that a tan Honda Accord collided head-on with a school bus. The crash initially prompted a response for possible injuries, but it appears no one was hospitalized.

Emergency units were promptly dispatched to the scene, with the first arriving at 7:44 a.m. A towing company, FRIENDLY TOW, was contacted to assist with the removal of the involved vehicles.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision. They are urging anyone who witnessed the crash to come forward with information that may assist in the ongoing investigation.
